Thinking ahead to warm, sunny days to summer camps!

While it may still be cold outside and children are still in school, many families are already looking forward to the summer and signing up their children for exciting classes and camps. The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts hosts 3 summer camps for children. Registration for all camps are open.  

Wilson Center Arts Camp: Wild About Water
June 24-28 and July 22-26
Ages: Students entering 1st through 6th grade
Time: 8am to 2:30pm with aftercare until 5pm for an additional cost.

Campers will spend time as a water droplet with a class by First Stage, be immersed in the sounds and movement of water through visual art and instrumental music, visit with live critters from Wehr Nature Center and more!

First Stage: Theater Camp
Students entering grades K4 to 4th grade will learn acting, musical theater, improvisation, creative drama, and more from the area's finest professional theater artists.
Story Drama: Ages K4 to 1st grade
July 8-12 (theme is “Pete the Cat”)
July 29 - Aug 2 (theme is “Bluey and Friends”)

Playmakers: 1st to 2nd grade

July 8-12 (one class each for “Uncovering the Spider-verse” and “Lost in the Sea! (Finding Nemo)” themes)

July 29 - Aug 2 (one class each for "Uncovering the Spider-verse" and "Lost in the Sea! (Finding Nemo)" themes)

Wisconsin Conservatory: Music Exploration Camp
August 5 – August 9, 2024, 9:30am to 3:30pm
Ages: Students entering 2nd through 6th grade (camp is mixed)

Campers will sing, drum, and play ukulele every day-AND have an opportunity to meet instruments through performances from our amazing Conservatory faculty. No prior experience is needed, but an enthusiasm for music and fun is absolutely required!
