Arts Camp: The Art of Nature 2025
Registration opens Wednesday, February 19 at 8am
Week 1: June 23–27, 2025 – Singing & Dancing with Nature. Featuring classes with First Stage, Wehr Nature Center, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music (WCM), and certified Wilson Center Body in Motion teacher, Cindy Collins.
Week 2: July 21–25, 2025 – Creating & playing with Nature. Featuring classes with Wehr Nature Center, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music (WCM), and certified Wilson Center “Get Arty” teacher, Tiffany Knopow.
8am-8:30am (drop off window) to 3pm-3:30pm (pick up window)
Option aftercare until 4:30pm
Arts camp is for students entering grades 1 to 6.
Our two Arts Camps allow students to explore their self expression in a variety of ways, tied together through nature programming provided by Wehr Nature Center. Each week of camp has a different focus. Choose one or both camps! June camp will be “Singing and Dancing with Nature” and July camp will be “Creating and Playing with Nature”. Campers will come away from camp with growth in their artistic abilities, confidence and an appreciation for nature.

Calling all high school/college aged students! Are you a positive, creative, and enthusiastic young leaders? Do you love working with kids? Are you passionate about making an impact in your community?
Join us as a volunteer during summer Arts Camp 2025 and work with instructors from the Wilson Center, The Wehr Nature Center, and more as we help children explore science, nature, and the arts. Click here to learn more.
Each week of camp is different. Choose one or both!
To better serve our campers, two different weeks will be offered to give families the option of signing up for BOTH weeks of camp!
June 23–27: “Singing and Dancing with Nature”. This camp will feature a rotation through 4 sessions: Dance with Cindy Collins, Nature with Wehr Nature Center, Vocal Music with WCM and Theater with First Stage .
July 21–25: “Creating and Playing with Nature”. This camp will feature a rotation through 4 sessions: Science/Engineering with Kris Lombardi, Nature with Wehr Nature Center, Instrumental Music with WCM and Visual arts with Tiffany Knopow.
With only 60 spots available each week, early registration is highly encouraged.
Arts Camp is for students entering grades 1 to 6, no exceptions.
All levels of abilities from novice to experienced are welcome!
Camp staff is made up of professional teaching staff from the Wilson Center, Wehr Nature Center, First Stage & the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.

REGISTRATION COST: $325 per camper
AFTERCARE: $100 for a single camper
Through each of these fun, interactive, and engaging experiences, Arts Campers will:
Develop an appreciation of the natural world through hands-on activities.
Increase self-confidence.
Develop creative problem-solving skills as they work with peers.
Experience a summer bursting with creativity!
