Celebrate our solar system as part of the 10th Annual Wisconsin Science Festival! During this free evening of astronomical observing, star lovers of all ages will be able to join Geneva Lake Astrophysics and STEAM (GLAS) on our beautiful Mitchell Park grounds to see celestial objects through telescopes, learn about our solar system, and safely explore activities related to astronomy and the night sky.
6PM - Music, liquid s’mores, and star-themed art activities
6:30PM & 7:30PM - Star story time for children
7-9PM - Live telescope viewing of Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars; demonstrations of how to use a night sky app; “scale of the solar system” walk, and more!
PLUS! Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the evening for the opportunity to take home your very own telescope! (Winner need not be present and proceeds support GLAS education.)

Please Note: All staff and volunteers will be equipped with proper masks/face shields, and sanitation/physical distancing procedures will be practiced to ensure safety for everyone. Children must be accompanied by adults at all times. No pets, please. Masks are recommended for attendees.
