Indie Folk – When Nicholas Gunty and Brian Powers bring their songs and voices together, there is a delicate magic that commands the room to attention. The duo was founded in Chicago and is known as Frances Luke Accord. Their intricate and contemplative mix of indie-folk gestures toward a timelessness that honors Simon & Garfunkel but pushes beyond into the world of Bon Iver, Jose Gonzalez, and progressive folk. The duo will be joined by special guest violinist Katie Van Dusen.
