Optimist Theatre's Twelfth Night: Or, What She Will

  • Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts 3270 Mitchell Park Drive Brookfield, WI 53045 (map)

Join us for a fun—and free show as we welcome the Optimist Theatre to the Wilson Center for their touring outdoor performance Twelfth Night: Or What She Will. Directed by M.L. Cogar, Optimist Theatre's resident dramaturg and Stage Managed by Melissa Wanke, veteran Optimist team member.

Join us for an exclusive preshow talk beginning at 4:45pm in the performance space with Tom & ML discussing the play itself, the adaption process and a brief history of Shakespeare and the play.

Just like 2021, Cogar has crafted a shorter version of the play for a smaller cast of actors, some playing multiple roles.

Twelfth Night: Or, What She Will, will take place on the grounds of the Wilson Center's Lynn Chappy ArtsPark between the (appropriately enough) “Play” and “Inspire” sculptures that are part of Ray Chi’s Shifting Perspectives. Audiences are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets.

Admission is free!
