Nineteen-time Grammy-nominated guitarist Larry Carlton has played an essential role in that anthology, and Rolling Stone magazine lists Carlton’s tasty ascent on Steely Dan’s single “Kid Charlemagne” as one of the three best guitar licks in rock music.
