Join us for a fun—and free!—farewell to summer on Sunday, August 29, at 6pm, as we welcome Optimist Theatre to the Wilson Center for their touring outdoor performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream: The Lovers’ Tale. Co-directed by M.I. Cogar and Tom Reed, this abridged, 75-minute, all-ages performance will focus on the follies of the lovers and the foibles of the fairies Oberon and Puck.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream will take place on the grounds of our Lynn Chappy ArtsPark between the (appropriately enough) “Play” and “Inspire” sculptures that are part of Ray Chi’s Shifting Perspectives. Audiences are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets. Beverages will be available for purchase.

Admission is free; reservations are recommended!
