Our Cafe Colonnade Concerts are back for 2021! Spend some time on the beautiful grounds of the Wilson Center with our specialty espresso bar partner Roast Coffee Company and our Colonnade Concert partner Wisconsin Music Ventures! Bring yourself, a loved one, and a chair to our Burke Colonnade Café as Roast Coffee Kiosk serves delicious coffee and espresso drinks, and check out a free performance featuring incredible Wisconsin-based musicians.

MYSO’s steel pan programs, Calypso and Soca, offer middle and high school students who live or attend school in the city of Milwaukee, an opportunity to develop new and exciting musical and rhythmic skills.

These programs are ideal for students who demonstrate a positive attitude, show a natural sense of rhythm, and possess a genuine desire to learn the program.

Calypso has performed throughout Milwaukee, with highlight performances including, Summerfest, the Lakefront Festival of the Arts, the Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebrations and many other performances throughout the community.
