Ebru Art is the traditional Turkish art of creating colorful patterns by sprinkling pigments onto a special solution and then transferring the patterns to paper. Ebru is listed as an important intangible treasure to humankind on the World Cultural Heritage list by UNESCO. Come and learn the history, philosophy, and technique behind this therapeutic form of art. Led by Wilson Center teaching artist Vesile Yilmaz, this one-day workshop is recommended for ages 14+.
