Festival City Symphony: Song and Dance

In person or via live stream, join Festival City Symphony for Song and Dance! Music Director Carter Simmons and the orchestra return to the Wilson Center to perform a rousing and varied concert featuring Richard Wagner’s Prelude to Die Meistersinger, works by Percy Grainger including the lovely Irish Tune from County Derry (Danny Boy), and the well-known Polovtsian Dances by Alexander Borodin. The hour-long concert will be performed without intermission, and options for physically distanced assigned seating and virtual attendance are available.

CHOOSE YOUR CONCERT EXPERIENCE! Audiences are welcome to join us in-person with limited capacity or go virtual!

In-Person Admission*: free to the public with a suggested donation of $15/adult or $8/child, senior, or student. You may make your donation when you order or in person the night of the performance. All proceeds will benefit Festival City Symphony.
Virtual Admission: $15/household and includes access to a live stream of the concert as well as a recording of the concert available through March 21st.

*A NOTE ABOUT IN-PERSON ADMISSION: to encourage physical distancing, once the Wilson Center receives your ticket order, the box office will pre-assign seats within your purchased section to ensure your group is sat together and at a safe distance from other parties. PLEASE NOTE: If you are purchasing online, you may not receive the same seats that the ticketing system will automatically assign you. Seating is limited to 25% of capacity, and no more than 150 tickets will be sold for this performance. If you have questions or specific seating needs, please call the Box Office at 262-781-9520; Box Office hours are Monday-Friday, 11am-2pm.

Please note the following safety precautions are in place to help make possible a fun, safe, and physically distanced performance experience for all guests!

  • A full duct and air filtration replacement and cleaning has been done throughout our venue in anticipation of our holiday performances.

  • This performance will take place in The Harris Theater and seating will be limited to 25% capacity (no more than 150 tickets sold).

  • Our dampers are on full time in the theater exhausting and bringing fresh air in, which results in 100% air turnover in The Harris Theater every 20 minutes.

  • Electrostatic cleaning takes place in our venue daily, as well as 30 minutes prior to every performance and immediately following every performance.

  • This performance will last no more than 45 minutes and will not include an intermission.

  • To encourage physical distancing, once we receive your ticket order, our box office will pre-assign seats within your purchased section to ensure your group is sat together and at a safe distance from other parties. If we have questions about your order, we will contact you.

  • To ensure physical distance between artists and audience, the first two rows of the main floor will not be seated.

  • Face masks will be required for staff, volunteers, and patrons at all times in our venue.

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building.

  • A methodical cleaning process of all public spaces in our venue will occur during and between every show.

  • Additional information about your performance experience will be sent to your email address no less than 48 hours prior to your performance.
