Holiday for Strings: Frank Almond and the Wisconsin Philharmonic

Join the Wisconsin Philharmonic for a very special holiday treat! Featuring the artistry of renowned violinist Frank Almond with a fabulous string section, audiences will experience an evening of classical holiday favorites designed to set the stage for a wonderful Christmas week.

PLUS! Set your holidays aglow and join the Wilson Center as they partner with Majic Productions, KEI Landscaping, and We Energies Foundation to light up the night! Audiences will have an opportunity before and after this performance to purchase refreshing holiday spirits & sweet treats while enjoying a fun and festive light display in the Center’s beautiful Burke Colonnade and surrounding grounds.

*A NOTE ABOUT YOUR IN-PERSON TICKET PURCHASE: to encourage physical distancing, once the Wilson Center receives your ticket order, the box office will pre-assign seats within your purchased section to ensure your group is sat together and at a safe distance from other parties. If they have questions about your order, they will contact you. Seating is limited to 25% of our capacity, and no more than 150 tickets will be sold for this performance.

Please note the following safety precautions are in place to help make possible a fun, safe, and physically distanced holiday experience for all guests!

  • A full duct and air filtration replacement and cleaning has been done throughout our venue in anticipation of our holiday performances.

  • All holiday performances will take place in The Harris Theater and seating will be limited to 25% capacity (no more than 150 tickets sold).

  • Our dampers are on full time in the theater exhausting and bringing fresh air in, which results in 100% air turnover in The Harris Theater every 20 minutes.

  • Electrostatic cleaning takes place in our venue daily, as well as 30 minutes prior to every performance and immediately following every performance.

  • This performance will last no more than 45 minutes and will not include an intermission.

  • To encourage physical distancing, once we receive your ticket order, our box office will pre-assign seats within your purchased section to ensure your group is sat together and at a safe distance from other parties. If we have questions about your order, we will contact you.

  • To ensure physical distance between artists and audience, the first two rows of the main floor will not be seated.

  • Face masks will be required for staff, volunteers, and patrons at all times in our venue.

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building.

  • A methodical cleaning process of all public spaces in our venue will occur during and between every show.

  • Additional information about your performance experience will be sent to your email address no less than 48 hours prior to your performance.
