This stirring drama with music is a classic tribute to the great American who freed herself and hundreds of people from the bonds of slavery. As Harriet and her friend Sarah Bradford narrate her life, students and teachers will share in the joys, sorrows, and challenges faced by this brave woman who changed the world through her courage.

NOTE: In order to be historically accurate and respectful to the playwright’s words representing the life and work of Harriet Tubman this play uses language that includes the “n” word. We encourage all adults bringing children and students to this production to discuss this use of language prior to the performance.
