The Big Event went Motown!

The Wilson Center’s major fundraiser celebrated all things Motown by welcoming 460 guests and the GRAMMY® award-winning vocal group The Temptations on June 5, 2010.

Guests mixed and mingled at the Get Ready! party with soul food-inspired dining bars created by Marcus Catering and Events, premium wine and cocktails, and silent and live auctions. A post-concert After Glow party in the Grand Hall included doo-wop dancing, libations, after-hours food, and dessert. “We were so thrilled to have one of the greatest vocal groups in Motown history under the Wilson Center roof,” says Honorary Chairwoman, Judy Jorgensen.

The generosity of the event’s sponsors, donors, and ticket buyers will help support Wilson Center arts and educational programming. We thank all of you!
