Leo Kottke with special guest Antoine DuFour

Fingerstyle legend Leo Kottke has composed scores for film soundtracks, childrens shows, and a symphony; and he has also released more than 21 LPs. Kottke is known for his self-deprecating, loopy sense of humor and brilliant stage presence. “What happens in the fretboard appears to mirror the sudden ebbs and flows in his thought process,” wrote Billboard’s Jim Bessman of Kottke’s concert style.

Opening for Kottke, Antoine Dufour is a 34-year-old Canada-based guitarist known colloquially among the best guitar players in the world as a musician’s musician. To fans of popular music, he deftly combines jaw-dropping guitar playing skills and an artistic soul in crafting instrumental compositions that reflect ambient and progressive music that transcends global cultures and languages.

This final concert of the 2015 Guitar Festival will also include brief performances by the first-place winners of the Rock/Blues, Fingerstyle, Jazz, and Classical competitions!
